Monday - The white chocolate stairway to heaven!

In the morning, waking in crocus bay, the others fancied snorkelling in an adjacent bay - little bay, over by a diving spot.
We contested with some bigger boats who seemed to want to get as far in as possible for their passengers, us observing a more sensible distance.

I drove us in on the outboard, and monitored them all from the boat, having a chat with some passing Americans about the weather and "your week so far?!"

The mornings events culminates in Pete doing some big jumps from the top of the diving rock!

After lunch we headed round to Crocus bay, recommended by guide books and the Sunsail people combined for it's wonderful views and beach.
We pulled in, and dinghied ashore, on a slightly more tricky beach to navigate as it was so steep.
Unperturbed, we had a lovely wander along the beach to the Da'Vida restaurant that also came recommended, and booked a table for our evening meal.

A little queasy again today, probably too much sun and not enough water, I felt a bit delicate, but a refreshing lemonade and some salty crisps turned it around within a few hours, purchased from Ashleys supermarket on Anguilla, which sold lots of British staples, like Frosties Cereal, even if in huge bulk at $46.60 a large box!
Back on the boat for an afternoon siesta was a lovely way to while away some time, before enjoying a beer in the sunset on the top deck.

Tonight, we all saw the legendary Green Flash from the sun just as it descended the horizon, punctuation time to get off the boat, head back to Da'Vida for dinner.
We managed to get off the Dinghy without being too wet, and walked into a completely deserted, but beautifully situated restaurant, well attended to by Margot our waitress.

She was very careful with allergies, and loved that I chose her favourite pork chop for my meal, the rest enjoying Grouper, and seafood salads. The food arrived, with copious check ins to make sure we, and the table, were OK!
Dessert time arrived, and it was Margots time to recommend "The most perfect, angelic white chocolate bread pudding stairway to heaven imaginable".
Such was Margots salesmanship, she managed to get two orders in, as well as a cappuccino and some vanilla ice cream! The White Choc bread pudding went down a treat, even if not quite the stairway to heaven it was sold as!
The real after dinner entertainment came in the form of getting back in the Dinghy in some harsher waves, in the dark! It wasn't going too badly until all of a sudden the boat has spun around, and then some of us were wet and in the boat, some.wet and not in the boat, barely anyone dry! We were then 10 meters off shore, and then had to come back to a small Jetty to collect Pete and Colin!
All eventually safe and sound and soaked we got back to the boat and off to bed, before going to Prickly Pear tomorrow!
